HOOKED ON A GOOD THING
In the early 70's, The Sammy Hall Singers were breaking new ground with music and a sound that and a younger generation filled the auditoriums to hear their message. Sammy Hall, who joined the band The Birdwatchers in 1966, was previously in The Mor-Loks and The Trolls. He became a Christian in the late sixties or early seventies and later toured as Sammy Hall and The Sammy Hall Singers. A former rock n roll singer, drug user, his life was changed in the meeting of Christ as his personal Savior. Sammy Hall’s “sound” had been described as “a vocal kaleidoscope…unique to the human voice.” Improvisational and passionate, it is real, multi-generational, and positive. His book, Hooked On a Good Thing, not only a reminder of what a new ministry can do in the lives of the younger generation, more importantly, what Christ can do for you!
